Lots of Indian immigrants are people who had extensive educations and figure that they could get paid more using it in this country than back home, or think they can angle similar benefits from starting a business here instead of back in their country.
>>108304659Here, where most of us are Merimutts, we tend to view ethnicity very simply, as just a matter of light/dark skin. Most other parts of the world have much more complex nationality/ethnic conflicts. My grandfather always had a fucking murderous hatred of Poles, and I never really understood the background of it. India specifically has a ton of sub-ethnicities/tribes that an outsider could never tell just from looking at them, but someone raised in the culture would know.
