Nobody is out here seriously claiming there's 154 genders and you need to memorize all of them. Research is increasingly pointing to gender identity and sexual orientation as a spectrum rather than a binary—and attempts to categorize this spectrum have historically been left to those experiencing it due to a lack of research and funding.
Contemplate what you hear. Y'know that phrase, "too good to be true"? If something sounds completely outrageous and whips you into a fury, it was probably designed to. Choose reputable sources, and don't argue in bad faith.
