ITT: We cast VA's for the first installation of the NCU: Champions of Meridell (pt. 1 and 2) Neopets plots are actually all released as comics with a site-wide interactive element so they're /co/ but a lot of the pages appear to be broken and operated via flash so I cannot storytime them.
For those of you who aren't aware of that plot (probably most of /co/):
Pt. 1
>Four city kids are playing DnD style game (in a world where magic actually does exist, mind you, and is common)
>Next day, they go on a field trip to a musem
>One kid sees a centuries-old painting that looks like her brother, who disappeared years ago while the two played hide and seek.
>Girl and her DnD buddies go to the place where her brother went missing to search for any clues of what happened.
>Friends wind up magically transported hundreds of years into the past after the girl's wand is magically hijacked
>The four friends are initially doubted when they explain their situation, but the captain of the guard The girl's brother who disappeared to the time period years earlier vouches for them.
>The group arrive immediately prior an attack on the king by a foreign force looking to steal a magical artefact
>The king had actually stolen the artefact from them years prior and covered up how it was obtained
>The initial war is lost, and the artefact is recovered by its rightful owner, but it had been corrupted by three mysterious entities that are not captured
Pt. 2
>The king of the foreign forces goes mad with power, causing mass-defection to the side of the king that had stolen the artefact in the first place.
>The four kids and the girl's brother fight to defeat the mad tyrant, falling in line with their DnD avatars along the way.
>They defeat him and the corrupted artefact shatters, causing the tyrant to vanish.
It's a fairly typical kids movie plot, albeit with a mid-point twist that might be a bit long to get to, being two separate military conflicts and all.
