Literally the only cool stuff you could do with Simon would involve him wandering around the country cursed, trying to undo the damage of Drac's curse. Go full on SotN with the season and OPEN it with Drac being killed, and then go from there.
Because otherwise I just don't see how you structure a show around it. The Samurai Jack angle has potential but I don't see the team pulling it off.
