Elements is a good place to stop.
It was actually getting better but everything was extremely rushed and genuinely poorly written towards the end. The voice acting also suffered.

I would just watch it until you don't feel like watching anymore. I went through the whole series but I skipped a lot of season six and fast forwarded the rest because it was just terrible most of the time. The later seasons were definitely better but I don't think the show really recovered from that dive anymore.

I'll never understand that. Other than forced bullshit, the finale was great. good song, solid feels, Finn acted heroically, and we got Simon back but still left some sadness in the world. It wrapped everything up, and it wasn't even predictable

I mostly agree, it just felt like GOLB was being built up as this huge threat and when. He came he didn't feel all that menacing.
Also sucked that Finn kinda took a backseat to all the other shit in the episode happening. It should have been HIS story. Everyone else's should have been wrapped up before the finale imo

It's unfortunate, but there wasn't really a way to make it Finn's story. The show was cancelled, and the major plot threads that were left to resolve (Simon/Betty and PB/Gumbald) weren't about him. They made him as relevant to those stories as they could have without forcing it.

Because your obviously low standards of letting such faulty writing pass will bring down the medium as a whole. Letting Finn slip into such a disregarded place isn't something that should be applaused.

Gumball, GOLB and whatever the hell else was in that 40+ minute runtime didn't need to be the finale if those people actally had an end in sight instead of creating new problems each season to milk CN.

What caused Ooo to become more dangerous? What caused probably Gunter to turn into the Ice Thing? What if its someone other than Gunter? Keep clapping.

More than breaking up with Finn, I hate that the writers obviously had no fucking idea what to do with her in the latter half of the show. Any episode that focused on her were more like Cinnamon Bun episodes featuring her. Then they reduce her to being a rapper and really nothing else. I'm still fucking confused by that. It's like they wrote it as a one-time joke and thought it was far funnier that it actually was, then made it her entire character. What a waste.
