Am I the only one who liked this girls before i even knew what liking a girl is?
I remember liking their vampire teeth and overall concept even tho i never saw a goth girl before, I was like 8 years old i think.

The Hex Girls were my sexual awakening. My favorite was the middle one because of her red and black hair and that voice, though the one on the right was up there with her dark skin and red pom pom afro. After I saw the Witch's Ghost when it came out on VHS (Damn I feel old) I started to notice the girls in my elementary school. Never noticed girls before that point, so i'll always have a special place in my heart for the Hex Girls. I wish they would appear more in the franchise, what with it being the 50th anniversary and all.

I remember loving Goliath very dearly when I was younger, I still have a crush on him today. My parents rarely interacted with me and I had basically 0 guidance as a kid. I would watch Gargoyles and admire and feel jealous of how the gargoyles operated like one large loving family, even though they weren't blood related. My inner safe space was imagining Goliath taking me under his wing (both metaphorically and literally) and generally being adopted by the clan. I spent days picturing Brooklyn, Broadway, and Lexington being my supportive older brothers, and Hudson my grandpa of sorts.

Before anyone asks, I'm so nonfictional as an adult I can't work. I had a landscaping job today, but I broke the hedger trying to set it up so I had a mental breakdown and started crying and shaking. Needless to say I was sent home without pay.
