You wanna make a LGBT character? Fine, but you should either have them introduced or have the story/show reinforce those actions decisions.
Instead, time and time again we get characters who suddenly catch the gay-virus because the show runners want to get inclusion-status stickers to put onto their creations instead of actually having the guts to write a character that way and maintain them throughout the series.
