If you win both rounds against Kronika, Raiden will return and reveals Kitana is still alive and she joins Liu Kang in shaping a better timeline as the new gods of time, with Raiden leaving them to their devices. There's actually 3 endings.

He’s got magic, so he can harm Supes. The problem is that MK gods are pretty low tier compared to gods in DC. Like, Ares can create dimensions, Zeus’ magical power was enough to stop universal threats and then there’s Shazam who can punch so hard he makes black holes. I have yet to see anyone in MK do that shit on their own. Even Onaga needed shit to be a cosmic threat.
