Well, to be blunt, I would think that most people above the age of ten would come to realize that he probably lives in America. I mean, even taking into account that the people writing the stories might try and localize things like the currency they use or what side of the road that cars drive on, and that people might not realize that “Calisota” is a portmanteau of California and Minnesota because who gives a flying fuck about foreign provinces/states, it’s still a story about Donald Fucking Duck, one of the most iconic American Characters in Fiction. It’d be like thinking Goku Lives somewhere in Mexico.
