>>107303403>Adam Warlock main antagonistNah, if anything it's Ayesha or there's some Magus shit in play (although I doubt it).
The way Gunn described Adam when criticizing people's fancasts for Adam (which were mainly old guys) he said that Adam is like a newborn who comes into the world with the body and mind of a young man. And while he's born smart and absorbs information quickly he doesn't have wisdom nor experience that someone who has lived for a long time has and is ignorant of social cues and has to learn acceptable behavior.
My guess is that Adam is going to be manipulated by Ayesha and used by her on her tirade against the Guardians. Adam will become smarter and also start realizing a lot of things and similar to his comic counterpart will come to the conclucion that his creator is a tool and then leave them and move on.
I'm also thinking Gunn might even parallel him with Gamora since Ayesha will be using Adam in a similar way Thanos used Gamora and Adam will be upset and conflicted with Ayesha, Gamora will probably notice this and try to save him from Ayesha. And since it's 2014 Gamora she also wouldn't be as secure about her feelings like regular Gamora was (especially since she didn't go through the first two GotG movies) so like Adam she would be in a position to also grow and emotionally mature. Probably how those two characters will connect.
