Didn't knew Hal straight-up killing someone who isn't even armed or attacking him just to then ask the other lanterns to not talk about it was an in-character choice.
Especially after an arc of him fighting guys who were using lethal force.
And no, Hal is not possessed, that's some dumb stuff.
