>>107014371Three things I hate about family guy.
The whole Bonnie being tired of Joe shtick. Okay, great, they've shown them growing apart and her becoming incredible indifferent and even hating him. Then they have episodes where she elopes to be with someone else and they get a divorce. Then he wins her back because they played "Their song" and it starts all over again, it would genuinely be nice and interesting to have them actually break up and develop Joe as he tries to get back into dating, or the same for Bonnie really. The episodes write themselves.
Secondly, the fucking Brian-Dying thing they had for a few episodes, they introduce a new dog character, have them all bond and keep it going for a few episodes. Then naturally they find a way to get Brian back, but in doing so have to leave Vinnie at the store to get put down or something. I kind of knew they weren't going to fuck with the Status Quo that badly and Brian was obviously coming back but doing so at the expense of another character kind of sucked, double-so when Seth dropped that shit-eating twitter post about it. "Teehee you didn't think I'd REALLY kill Brian would ya?" No shit. It would have been golden if they at least had a little scene at the end where Joe decided to get a dog and ends up with Vinnie as an infreqently appearing character. Development for Stewie, Development for Joe, Development for Brain and a new character to play off the Stewie-Brian combo from time to time.
Thirdly, they brought back the family from the Cleveland show, alright cool. Have they done anything with them? Ever? I think Donna has had about four lines since 2013 and Rallo has had maybe one, the rest of the family being mute and emotionless robots.
