Places like Saint Helena, Ascention Island,and the Tristan da Cunha archipelago have local (promarily British) populations and ports but essentially never visited and so far off of common trade routes that you'd be hard up justifying their infection. Hell, most of them don't even HAVE significant mammal populations aside from humans. Some of these places only get monthly shipping with the outside world, in a good year.
Hell, if you added the Falklands in there you'd basically recreate the British empire, but upside down... and with Argentinian colonies/outposts instead of Britanny.
Don't call em the 'eternal' anglo for nothing.
