Speculation:
Lot's may have reasoned that his daughters would not be harmed by the men. In a previous account, Yahweh prevents Pharoah from sleeping with Abraham's wife Sarah. So it could reasoned that Lot acted in faith, that Yahweh would protect his daughters. By means of the angel's, Yahweh did make good on saving them.
As for Lot's wife, she looked back with regret over what she had given up, directly against Yahweh's judgment.
