Just think, if they had gotten an actually talented writer they could have churned out several solid runs on the character that would have provided a better foundation for the movie or even built up some more interest about her. Instead they just keep faffing about with how it's going to look on social media when they announce that a FEMALE is writing Captain Marvel.
