>>106300588Nine is fine. Ten is rushed and the ending is kind of clunky. I understand some people think Jack should've stayed in the future and fixed that timeline, but I totally disagree, I think the series had to end with him going back to the past and season 5 reinforced that theme. But another major theme of the series is that Jack did everything he could to fix the future. The weird Gurren Lagann ending undercuts that, and I get why people dislike that side of it. I wish we could've seen either
A) That the future timeline still exists and the people Jack left behind are starting to fix the damage done by Aku.
B) The future that follows on from Jack having successfully gone back to the past and we can see the characters we love without Aku ever having ruled the world.
But the time constraints didn't allow for either of these OR really much of a fight between Jack and Aku, either in the future or the past, so. Like I said. Kinda rushed. Really, I wish the season just had like, six more episodes. Stretch out Ashi's turn to a hero a bit more, stretch out Jack getting his sword back, take some more time to set up the two of them falling in love, then have a blow-out 3-part finale where you can have a big-ass Aku fight AND properly show what happens in the future so people get some closure on not just Jack, but the five seasons worth of characters they got attached to.
