WHY is no one ever able to answer me?
I am someone(girltbh) who fantasizes about an abusive relationship with a guy.
I can NEVER find an actual cartoon/anime that reflects this simple standard
The closest I've found is ironically TomStar, which of course I ship, and that Game of Life movie where the dude basically completely controls that girl because it's an AI sexbot catered to his interests.

Everyone wants to fit in or find a clique. Most weebs grow up being socially inept due to anxiety so they stay within a closed nit group of friends who usually share the same interests as them. There is a genre in Japan for this but it mostly applies to games and voice drama CDs. In general it's hard to find some kind of niche fetish stuff in Western cartoons. Unless you're into furry, then you're lucky. But something like Bojack or South Park has "good for nothing" guys, in fact the entire season 21 of South Park is about this theme.

Out of curiosity, as someone who writes niche lewd-fics of various kinds, do you have many friends who would be into this, and can you be more specific about the kind of abuse/scenarios/genres you'd be interested in? While I won't offer to directly write something like this for you specifically, I agree that there is an untapped market, and I';d be curious to learn more.

I have a friend who is into abusive female-on-male material, and finds it equally scarce. It seems women by and large aren't allowed to enjoy fantasies of unhealthy power dynamics, or at least not with men. Curious.

It's hard to be specific since I generally like all of it.
But for instance, if there were actually a show where a girl was punched by her boyfriend and the girl apologized instead of the boy and then the show went on, that would be nice. It doesn't even have to be the main focus of the show; in fact, almost better if that were just a casual dynamic.
I might just write snippets of my own and see how people react. I guess I should expect most people to be bothered by it, but maybe there would be a small community that would actually see it as 'romantic' as I oddly do.
