Were you satisfied with her character arc, or did you need to see another season to see what they'd do with her if they'd stuck to the plan of continuing the show?

I think it was as good a place to end the series as it could be. Though I would have loved to see her “fall from grace” maybe have her show up in a big prisoner facility where wander has to confront a warden or something to talk to her.

Would have loved to see more explanations for races, especially wanders species or where he came from. Same for dominator and hater. Maybe toss in a faction of evil folk instead of just singular villians.

Look, it's the Disney channel so you can't have a story where evil wins or good intentions lead to horrible consequences, S & P wouldn't allow it. Maybe 2 seasons was a mercy killing, another season of "Wander is always right" would have been boring.

Dominator was a solid 8 character that had a surprising amount of nuance to her(and the novelty of an actual good girl character made her even better IMO) and the only part about her that could be considered an actual negative was how she could be annoying and had like three dud lines, but it's understandable to see why people didn't like her when the show was around. Even then, people still liked her for the most part, because that's generally what happens when you have a well-written antagonist.

I hate her fanbase, not the character. She was basically proof that fantastic shows could not achieve popularity until introducing a waifu bait character. WOY's popularity skyrocketed after her song in My Fair Hatey became popular on Youtube but by that time the show was already canned. It's just such a fucking shame.

I just wish she was in a different show entirely. Every single other character was too grating and annoying to bear for more than ten minutes. I love the design and her song so I tried to watch the show for her, but I literally couldnt sit through it long enough to get to her.

Hater was a primate astronaut from Earth who somehow ended up in Wander's galaxy and with electrical superpowers (his being a skeleton is almost certainly an extinction of his elemental affiliation rather than anything to do with undeath directly). I'm not sure if he's supposed to be a chimp like Ham or a gorilla, though. Chimp fits the bill but he is very much built like a gorilla. Maybe his size was another cosmic enhancement.

Having watched the entire show based on /co/ posts saying how good it was, especially before Lord Dominator shows up, it was pretty mediocre. The Dominator stuff ended up the best part, she easily got the best song and got an actual character arc unlike Lord Hater, Silvia, or Wander himself.

He's a goofy nob from the beginning, though. He gets clowned on the entire time. The only time he's anything different is when he's the supporting character instead of the main antagonist. That's not an arc.

If anything, he's the most developed character in the show. He has a main arc in S2 where he learns to open up and be honest about his feelings, and general development in S1 where he goes from the Big Bad to a goofy idiot.

Hater and Peepers is the real relationship drama to watch. Peepers goes from just being a nameless mook to Hater to him being an actual friend and becoming a rival team to Wander and Sylvia.
