Did TMNT and Gumball even have some sort of impact?
TMNT will just keep on rebooting itself over and over, the 2k12 version will just be a footnote in the entirety of the franchise.
And Gumball's was always in the shadows of AT and RS. Even now all Gumball discussion I ever see outside of this place is about how it inserts real world politics and pop culture references into its later seasons, which also happened at around the time RS and AT started to fizzle out. I've never seen one person actually wanting to talk about the show but instead gawk only at the references it made or how it assblasted X group of the political spectrum for a minute.

2012 was the first TMNT reboot in almost 10 years. Not only will it be the one a new generation of kids will most closely identify the franchise with like 2003 and '87 before it, but it also made a shitton of money in toys and merchandise. I don't even think Rise will take over its ubiquity in sometime, if it ever does.

Dunno about Gumball, though. That's just a fun show.

I can't imagine Twelve Forever or Infinity Train having any real long term sustainability. The basic concepts for the shows got old even over the course of their original pilots, and both play the dangerous game of attracting viewers with a high concept plot but then not taking that high concept seriously at all because the vast majority of every episode is just stupid random humor (because everyone wants to be the next Adventure Time) and then MAYBE there might be something connected to the overall plot towards the end as some stupid stinger (because everyone wants to be the next Gravity Falls). It would fucking work if they just picked one or the other, but nope. Gotta have Lost tier lore while at the same time having it be a screwball comedy. Cause that's not false advertising at all.

Hardly anyone on this board actually wants it renewed.
It actually got to the point where people are fearing that despite all the cancellation announcements that it will somehow keep going. People don't like modern Gumball that much.
