Why do retards keep going on and on and on about Captain Marvel being the main character of Endgame?

For one, there is CLEAR foreshadowing that it's going to end with Cap and Tony doing something. Secondly, a company as old as Disney would never do anything as risky as have a new character dominate the movie. Even in Avengers: Age of Ultron, it was still mainly Iron Man who carried the final act despite Vision getting some choice scenes. Let's assume that they were stupid enough to bank the finale of a twenty movie crossover event on a character they have no audience data on, it would only be one bad part of what is leaked to be a two and a half hour movie. Remember when everyone was convinced that Black Widow was going to pick up Mjolnir because Marvel is full of SJWs and then it didn't happen at all? Or how people were convinced Black Widow was going to pose with Cap's shield because she picked it off the floor in a trailer? So not only did that not happen, the Russos are directing Endgame who are even less prone to that shit than Whedon is.

Lastly, Disney is so cautious about Captain Marvel reception that they had to bolster the movie cast with Samuel L Jackson who is one of the most liked characters in the MCU.

It's a perfectly reasonable prediction with current data, but there's also a much bigger artificial push for this movie than there was for Black Panther too so the data may be tweaked a bit, and God knows "white woman with power" isn't as strong of a seller as "black man with power" for the socially minded crowd in the states, let alone in the rest of the world.

This feels like a form of Gambler's Fallacy. Like they think that because Marvel movies keep doing well and getting good reviews, it raises the chances that the next one will flop with bad reviews. And it leads them to predict it at the most unlikely times.

An MCU movie is not going to flop before Endgame, the hype is carrying it along.

An MCU movie starring a black or female lead is not going to be the first one the critics really turn on, for fear of being labelled racist.

If a Marvel movie ends up getting a rotten score or flopping, it's probably going to be a sequel several years after Endgame, when not as much is riding on it.

Incredible Hulk was meh, Thor just scraped by as an okay movie, contemporary reviews for CA:TFA were only just decent, and Avengers still changed the entire blockbuster film industry.

Marvel Studios isn’t Lucasfilm. They actually care about their brand. They aren’t going to have Nick Fury being emasculated by a old lesbian with purple hair or have Carol sucking off Slott boobs.

My issue with it is the fact of what is the point of the film? We already know what events have lead of and the fact that Carol hasn't been around in any film before now or event alluded to just makes her feel like a "Oh yeah she exists" type of character rather than a properly built up "Anti-Thanos".
