Song title aside the lyrics actually sync up with the themes of the comic pretty well.

Since the whole comic is basically Mark trying to shoulder the burden of protecting the earth entirely on himself and wrestling with morality I think it works pretty well.

Are there any voices you read the characters as, or you think would be good for the characters?

I would always read Allen the Alien as Kurt Metzger (Randall from Ugly Americans), but I don't know if that'd actually work for the show.

If this takes off do you think Image would make more of their brands into animated series instead of live action? I think it is a weird choice that East of West is being turned into a live action when it would do better as an animated show.

Since the first season is only 8 episodes long it's pretty obvious it will end with the Mark/Nolan fight, that's their hook for the second season. I just hope they make the rest more entertaining, I know that some people dropped the comic before that because the previous issues were a bit TOO mundane and boring.

Maybe season 1 can be volumes 1 - 5, the fight with nolan being mid-season and the first fight armstrong levy with the machine exploding and him becoming a monster being the finale

I doubt they'll use the later living off planet alien arcs. They were really unfun when compared to the early series, and the later portion of the series was just constantly teasing that Invincible was going to get cucked everytime he went off until it eventually happened.
