I think there are valid reasons to be skeptical of the current crop and culture of trans activists but she isn't engaging any of the more reasonable arguments in favor of stoking ire and poking fun. I'd say I'm a radfem myself and this comic is piss poor and convincing anyone that is on the fence. Its not even entertaining enough for people who are already radfems.

Her responses to people's comments/asks are funny though in a classic troll kind of way. She knows how to milk lolcows that is for sure.

This isnt a thing, 90% of this noise is people pretending to try and get people to hate trans people. Because they're one of the most vulnerable groups, it used to be gay people but they're far larger and more vocal now and not easy prey for hate groups.

I think you can find differences between older generations of transpeople and current ones, at least enough so that they are sometimes labeled in derogatory ways (like truscum). The modern trans umbrella incorporates a wider group of people including people without dysphoria now.

For the most part radfems seem to be largely composed of lesbians. Its possible you're not old enough to remember the Cotton Ceiling debates but the controversy around that was the tipping point for many cis lesbians. Given that most people are straight and identify as their birth sex most people are unaware of the friction residing within the LGBT community. Trans people have long been in a tenuous position with other cis gay people. A lot of the tensions come down to sex. There are definitely mean and pushy trans people and lesbians just got tired of dealing with them. The lesbian population is very small and so it takes a relatively small number of people to rock the boat in a bad way.

the radfems I follow on twitter are mostly lesbians, I don't know if we'll ever get a good count one way or another. Gendercritical isn't the only radfem space, radfem is pretty active on twitter.

Regardless I am pessimistic about the trajectory of either trans rights or radical feminism. The latter for the obvious reason that radical feminism doesn't really offer any sort of happy endpoint for the majority of women (it is associated with sex separatism for a reason) and because it's anti-capitalist trappings are unattractive to many. And pessimism for the former because it doesn't matter if every trans person is a total saint, there are enough shitty cis men who would take advantage of protections afforded to trans people.
