can someone please explain to me why we're not allowed to have a Super-Family?
we have a Batfamily and Flash Family why cant we have a family of kryptonians or superman-related characters?

Superman himself is already megapowered, adding a bunch of people with the exact same powerset would be a fucking headache to write for more than a few adventures. They really screwed themselves by having every single one of them the exact same strengths.

In flash family even when Wally got faster than Barry, Barry was still known for his ability to vibrate through objects without harming them, Barry had a better understanding of the science, Wally had a better understanding of the speedforce, etc.

To even have any kind of tension for a bunch of supermans you'd end up having to constantly juggle some sort of incapacitating element like making one of them unrealistically stupid.

The Supergirl thing is always retarded. So what if Supergirl is shown as being more powerful than Superman for reasons? It gives plenty of stories potential. Since she's a teenager and new to this she has a harder time controlling herself and Superman has a harder time helping her. It's even kinda cute. If Batman can deal fine with one of his Batgirl being able to easily kick his ass, why can't Superman?

Some of the higher ups at dc would probably retcon Jon, Conner and Kara from continuity if they could. Hell they DID get rid of Conner and Kara, they only keep them around because adaptations keep using them making them too big IPs to keep out of the main canon.

The legend goes that shortly after taking over DC Comics, now-Co-Publisher Dan DiDio went to a Six Flags theme park where there were a number of DC Comics-themed attractions. Admittedly there is the issue of devaluing Superman when there are several people with basically the same powers, they even try to ignore that having Supergirl and Powergirl take beatings Supes wouldn’t even flinch with no explanation about the discrepancy in “power levels”
Although I thought it was a good story when they had that Kryptonian city floating over the US it also raised the question of why Supes would be the most important or strongest among trained soldiers with the same powers as he.

Nah, Johns made his Superman: Secret Origin... origin canon. Not Byrne's Man of Steel. Essentially what counts is mostly the pre-New 52 Johns stuffs, with some of the iconic story-lines added for good measure.

I think it's mostly a character dynamic and powerlevel issue compounded by writer tendencies. Superhero "families" have bloomed while traditional supporting casts have increasingly been pushed to the side. Ability to effectively use the characters in a way that isn't just making them a fill-in for the main character's story and interpersonal relationships that are engaging are also major factors. Just compare Batman to Green Arrow, in the past few years they've both seen massive growth of their "families" but people complain that with the already large size of the Batfamily the new additions struggle to find distinct roles or unique voices within the stories. Meanwhile Team Arrow added something like four or five new characters in the past 10 years and no one's really had an issue with them.

We never really had a Flash family. Wally was barely allowed to have his kids. We have had, to one extent or another, a collection of Flash or Flash adjacent characters, and while we've never had something like L'il Gotham or the Rebirth 'Tec run, we have had multiple Kryptonians at time, although I'd prefer something along the lines of Kurt Busiek's “The Best Day,” as a limited series with even more people added (PeeGee, Irons, Kon, Lana, etc.)

To be fair, Matrix hadn't been a thing for years. At the time, she had gone on to be an angel and the person she was once fused to (Linda Danvers) was the active Supergirl but had severely gimped powers. And then there was Cir-El.
