>>105357811>I don't want to read anything like this ever again. You think it would be worth writing a letter to DC?There has been a severe disconnect for many years between comic editors and writers on the one hand and consumers on the other for several years now, if not longer. Dan Didio and Brian Michael Bendis, for instance, clearly want to send Superman (along with DC at large) in a different direction and could not give a damn what any of their potential consumers think. They are going to do it whether you like the results or not.
It's also one of the reasons why Bendis has openly mocked the readership, which was terrified of what he'd do to Superman (especially when Super Sons was canceled), and told an interviewer that Superman fans "being good and reasonable people will end up apologizing and I will accept their apology." Paraphrasing, but that was the gist of it. In short, neither he nor Didio give a damn if people are unhappy with it. And since Bendis is getting Legion of Super Heroes and Batman Beyond, this will only spread.
You can send in those letters. But the only protest is to close your wallets and stop buying. The only thing these guys understand are profits and losses. And even then, the SJW mentality is to usually take down the ship like the Titanic if they feel their direction is "right."
