https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/hullabaloo-steampunk-animated-film#/updates/all>PRODUCTION UPDATE - 10/18/18We are currently 99.9% done with animation! We just have a few “continuity” shots that involve some minor character animation and fx work.
>We have about 12 backgrounds to finish painting to complete episodes 1 & 2.>Our Cg team, consisting of 4 people, are working on modeling and texturing the environments. Because of the budget of this project, they are working on a freelance basis and are only able to work on it when time permits which usually amounts to a few hours per week.>Our compositor, Jake Akuna, was offered a position as a Visual Effects Supervisor on an upcoming series for Netflix. This involves him traveling frequently to Brazil so that limits the time he can spend working on Hullabaloo. If you watch this video, it tells you more about our compositor and techniques he is using to help create the look for Hullabaloo. >At about the seven-minute mark, you can see shot progressions of a few shots that show how the various elements are composited together.https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=3&v=TggjPBf9U_E>We are scheduling the final orchestra scoring session (for episode 3) sometime near the end of December. We’ll most likely plan to release the soundtrack before the release of the short films.>As far as the other rewards, we are currently looking for a new publisher for the Art of book. Now that animation is coming to a close, we’ll start choosing animation drawings to send out. We still have a lot of original drawings and a few original paintings to make.
