cue gamergate, with a leftist politicized journalist circlejerk conspiracy going directly against /v/, and you get a whole board obsessed with fake news, convinced that anything they don't like is part of some conspiracy, hating on leftist politics as they grow more politicized, shunned from home and hating the site as a result, while frequenting twitter as a battleground.
