The problem with cartoons is that they refuse to try to be deep or for adults. What gives? Why do modern cartoons still feel childish despite claims it's advanced past the 80s. Anime talks about philosophy and is written for adult audience while kids are still the primary audience for western cartoons. Maybe someday cartoons will be allowed to be gritty and have engaging stories, but how much longer until this calarts era of lolsorandumbxD is over with?
