Moore's sex stuff always rung kind of hollow and dull to me too. Like they keep going to that well and just don't have anything to say, or the energy to say it clearly.
I think the primary problem with Bulleteer besides that is that Sally Sonic's hero days were more interesting than anything else in that sad ugly little book. I feel like there is a story there, but besides being disrespectful as fuck to the original; (and yes no one cares about the Bulleteer and Bulletgirl but then make new characters) I feel like maybe Morrison was the wrong guy to tell that story.
Or hell, maybe it's me. idk.
