Mob Psycho 100 also deals with the follies of absolute power; it has a main character who is pathetic at physical activities but has obscene psychic powers. He doesn't think they make him special, and his goodly nature makes him easily taken advantage of and in some cases, disdained by others around him. His boss--who is a fraud-- gives him wonderful life advice and on occasion bails him out of trouble.
A Mary Sue would revel in their powers, beloved by the populace, yet sickeningly maintain *they* don't understand why they're considered so popular, even as they lecture their antagonists after they've defeated them about being yourself or some shit.
A Mary Sue out specials the main protagonist if they are inserted into someone else's story.
A Mary Sue would be if Miles is instantly good at being a Spider-Man to the point where his entire movie is about him showing up the others, all the while collecting their approval.
