Well Vulko is kinda dubious in the comics at times, sure his ultimate goals always are on favor of Atlantis but that sometimes implies getting his hands dirty.

Am I the only one who thought during the film that Dafoe was the secret villain using the brothers against each other? He wants the trident for himself, but he can't get it himself, as he is not a king, so he secretly trains Aquaman and makes him seek revenge for his mother's death. While he guides the king to unite the different kingdoms against the surface, he convinces Aquaman to retrieve the trident. Then when Aquaman comes back with the trident, he takes it for himself, then takes over the united kingdoms and leads them to war against the surface, but Aquaman stops him.
Is this going to be my life? Sit there and try to guess the twists in the film, instead of just enjoying it?

i found the movie to be incredibly predictable, as soon as they reiterate that his mommy was exiled twice but ASSUMED dead it was obvious she was gonna come back
the milf monster namedropped twice early, of course they gonna fight it
manta obvously was working with orm
dafoe obviously was in love with mom
aquaman was obviously going to lose the first fight and then return to win the next fight

All three were good movies but I might have to give it to Aquaman as my absolute favorite out of them but that might be just my hype from seeing it last weekend.
