>>104808428>How's he a Gary Stu?Not that anon, but alongside Goku, Batman is essentially the embodiment of the male equivalent of a Mary Sue. No matter the odds, he always seems to havr an ace of his sleeve that can immediately turn the tide in his favor regardless of the opposition's strength, and the writing is almost always crafted in a way thatnputs him in a perfect position to employ whatever plan/gadget/weapon he needs to use to come out on top. The world of DC almost revolves around Bats when he's in the room, to the point where damn-near demigods have been intimidated by him simply because he gave them a nasty glare or a put-down.
There's a reason this phenomenon is sometimes referred to as "Bat-god", because it's almost as if the world is subject to his will simply because the writers deem it so. We're told that he acquired the skills and knowledge he did through extensive training and work, but there IS a limit human characters should be subject to. He's the worst example of Mary-Sue writing in western media; he's almost never allowed to fuck up. There's nothing that humanized him.
