>>104833188>>104833478I've said it before, and I'll say it again, this won;t be fixed by just talking.
Catra sees Adora as the enemy, and no matter what Adora says, Catra will see her as someone trying to manipulate her, keeping her down, treating her like a pet. So any change cannot happen from Adora, it has to be a change in Catra, to make her open and willing to listen.
Catra needs to realize that the path she is on, the path for power, is one of selfdestruction. And he needs to see that firsthand. Which is where I think Shadows Weaver comes in.
Shadow Weaver is also bent on power. She was the most powerful mage at Mystacor, but that wasn't enough for her. Why wasn't that enough? I don't know, but I know of one person more powerful than that: the Immortal Queen of Brightmoon, Angella. I think, like Adora and Catra, they were friends, but that friendship was broken because Light Spinner felt she was inferior to Angella. That led to their friendship being broken, and Light Spinner's transformation into Shadow Weaver, and her quest for power.
At one point or another, SW will enlist Catra's help, and Catra will help willingly, thinking there's something in it for her, except at this point she has either lost the trust of Scorpia and Entrapta, or helping SW will come at the cost of that. Having sacrificed everything i the persuit of power, just liek SW, they will see a resemblance in one another. But SW will show herself to have become so obsessed, that she's willing to give up everything just to outdo her rival, which will lead to SW's destruction. And then, only then, will Catra realize that if she continues on the same path, that will be her fate as well. And only then will she be willing to step away, and even be open to reconcilliation with Adora.
