-Tina is boy-crazy and it's awkward.
-Tina is competing with Tami.
-Tina pretends to be over some childish thing because of peer pressure, but really isn't. Seriously, there are so many Tina-focused episodes rehashing the same shit. It's no wonder Big Mouth is a thing. I guess a certain kind of arrested development person eats this shit up.
-Someone tries to befriend Gene, but Gene is too autistic to understand human ideas.
-Gene finds a lost/weird animal/inanimate object/homeless person and drags everyone else into it.
-Louise feels betrayed at the slightest inconvenience to her.
-Louise gets hung-up about something and plots a crazy scheme to get back at someone.
And the Bob and Linda focused episodes tend to be pretty formulaic too.
-Bob becomes hyper-competitive about something while pretending not to be.
-Bob gets roped to play straight-man into Teddy/Fishowner/whoever's crazy scheme.
-Linda gets really passionate about some random crap and ropes everyone into it.
