>>104680833i know that retardedly bad things can be insanely popular
bazingai also know that something can be amazing and not have a big viewerbase
the problem here is that this show looks like shit, is written like shit, is animated like shit, and has a popularity that reflects this
i don't really have to get into its view #s to portray this (but that's an easy thing to do, so i do it). compare it to the other show that CN aired, SJW Universe
for months you'd easily find dozens upon dozens of song covers, tribute videos, and reaction vids, and that was just at the end of the first season
it's a very simple progression. popularity breeds a fandom, a fandom breeds fan creations, and that breeds a growing fan community
the biggest clue to me that this show is a failure is that I don't regularly see fan works that are numerous or all that popular
>>104681058well, no. SU still regularly breaks all view #s that OK KO has & while I can't find all the data for TTG, even if it's viewership has decline the movie proves that it's still fairly popular
and this is like 5 years into these shows. OK KO's been on the air for only like 2
also, using the "muh digital sales" excuse that comics uses really proves how lacking your defense of this show is
