I'm trying to get back into comics
I'm really interested in the Champions and since there's a reboot coming in 2019 I was anxious to get into it BUT I am concerned about SJW pandering
I know nothing about the characters in the team, but I like their looks but I also know almost all of them were created for 'diversity'
I hate the whole diversity craze and I don't want to patron it but the team surprisingly appeals to me despite having only one white hero. Is it poorly written and forced like a Bendis comic? Or is the series a pretty decent read and written for the characters and story rather than an agenda?
I just want to like something without having politics forced down my throat :(
Also: if I like a team with almost no white heroes have I moved beyond racism?
