>>104619817I'm much more bothered of the ENTIRE execution rather than the idea. The dialogue, the atmosphere, the behaviour of the characters, their expressions, their voice actors' delivery, etc.
There were a bunch of cartoons in the 2010s which started feeling like the autistic 2010s full of filler trash and dialogue stiff and fake you can't help but wonder who are the autistic losers who wrote this. Autistic losers responsible for LOST and Prometheus.
The few cartoons which did this were as followed; Mystery Inc, The Green Lantern show, Star Wars, Batman Brave and the Bold, Ben 10 Alien Force, Secret Saturdays season 2. Young Justice in some respects. And thank God that was IT.
If it wasn't full on /tv/ pretending to be dark and edgy, cool and badass like Korra. Then it was some other form of inexperienced immature mute/autistic characters.
The 2010s had this innate autism atmosphere to it which only the worst of the worst movies had like The Room. They felt like those cheesy horror movies, but with a director lamer than the corny-ness because the 2010's idea was to try and write Seinfeld - the dark brooding edition. 2010s was all about geeks trying to act tough and failing awkwardly at it, resulting in a pretentious and boring demeanor that makes you want to give rip their underwear over their heads and yell "You're a fucking idiot".
It's exactly like taking Charlie Brown and making him pretend he's Batman or Superman 24/7. Exactly like taking a loser and turning him into a pretentious charlatan loser pretending to be edgy rather than charming. Except that loser does nothing but flip between smiling like a retard and making mean faces while 99% of his dialogue is hell lot of nothing presented in a stilted "I just came out of special eds, please have patience with me"
That is the 2010s' behaviour.
