It’s beginning to look a lot like /co/hristmas.
The days grow colder, the nights grow longer. That means /co/ Christmas cheer is coming to town. Grab some cocoa, turn on the Christmas music, get comfy, and hang out with some /co/mrades as we share stories and get into the holiday spirit.
As previous years, share your Amazon wishlist and some random Anon may purchase a holiday gift for you. Be sure to gift another Anon in return so we can spread the cheer far and wide.
Last year we had 180 gifted anons, some more than once.

IF Chris in the UK pops up, Amazon is claiming about a small percentage of your items on your wish list are purchased - not the entire thing, just about 10-15 items - can you look over and update your list? Wanted to check out the movies afterwards because the website I usually get my anime from doesn't have the first series but only the three movies. After that, I will watch Gundam 00 S01/02
Roger roger
My usual recommendations are the 0079 Gundam movies. If you can take old animation it's a good story that sets up everything after it. If you can't then SEED HD or Gundam 00 are good start off points. Not the best series but they give you an idea of how Gundam works, have nice designs and the plot isn't awful as a single series.
If you want something super robot G Gundam, Shin Mazinger and GaoGaiGar are the normal starting points. Expect hot blood, manly men and a lot of screaming.
If you're just not sure what you want but like a cheerful series full of weird things then Overman King Gainer is an easy recommendation. Made by a vast drug supply and the original Gundam creator it's a unique series that got forgotten by the new generation of mecha fans.
If you want severe mental scars read the Bokurano manga. The anime is bad and censored everything. Watch the anime opening, it's really good.
>>104522010 Most people watch the 3 movies. It cuts out a huge chunk of stupidity and streamlines the story without losing too much.

Yugi's cards I keep in the gold deck box, Kaiba's in the Kaiba Corp deck box, and Joey's in the blue one. Not all their cards can fit in the deck boxes, so I have another double deck box for extras. Also have a set of Yugi's Duelist Kingdom anime deck. Last but not least, the gold sarcophagus that housed the Millennium Puzzle pieces and the Millennium Puzzle.

>>104522076 I will fight you to the death when you say netflix anything is good sir. The point isn't that they added a gay character, it's the pressure that forced it to happen.

>>104525382 Actually, lots of notebooks nowadays have problems with wifi. My gf's notebook is currently having the issue that the wifi doesn't work at all. I have been telling her to send it in for months but she wouldn't listen. Now, she can't use her wifi 90% of the time
Mine, before it croaked, had issues while downloading. It would download files and once I triet to unpack them, it would showcase CRC errors, ergo the wifi wasn't working 100%. I really hope you find a good solution for your problem
I'm heading off to bed. Be good everyone!

>>104525382 If you've tried to connect to more than one network that other devices have no problem connecting to and have done a factory reset you should have a chat with your retailer, in particular since the device is so new and might still be covered by some kind of early issue/DoA warranty. They'll probably handle it, but if they won't then you can take it to the manufacturer and they'll usually help you out.

I had to read your sentence twice to make sure I understood it - I wasn't suggesting he drop a SECOND wish list, he's asking about swapping out one for another simply because he added more /co stuff. I'm operating on the assumption each person gets ONE wish list so if he's ungifted, I would have swapped it out no problem - but I'm not the experienced one on how stuff has been handles NOR the one that has to do the actual leg work.
Did they make classic Doctor Who one shot holiday specials? I've barely seen bits and pieces of those, from when public television in the US used to have the broadcasting rights (well before BBC USA and before Who became massively marketable versus a niche entertainment).
Roger roger
>>104530288 I read it as him wanting to use a different account. Why else would you need to add a different code? It would become confusing if people could switch codes around.
Classic Doctor who runs in serials, they normally last 4 or 6 episodes and could do a Christmas theme. The modern style 2 parters would be a more traditional series style but every 30 minutes you throw in a cliff hanger that gets resolved 10 seconds into the next episode. Depending on the Doctor some of them had the Doctor passive until the last episode of a serial and then he resolves everything and goes home. The pacing of the new stuff with running around every where and shouting is like Doom and Brutal doom. It was revived based on what people thought they watched more than what they did. 9th Doctor was pretty alright, he could have done some nice stuff.

I installed G Gen Genesis on the Vita. It's the clunkiest G Gen since the PS1. Everything moves at a snails pace. Tutorials annoy you every turn. After playing Overworld where everything is slick and polished this is just a mess. The vita wasn't powerful enough to run it but they did it any way. Animations are static and take 5 seconds to load off of a SD card. They did all the remodeling for this game and can't have had time to do full animations. The effects look nice, the sprites look nice but it's so clunky.
Might install SRW V and see how that plays. I was looking forward to upgrading units through the UC timeline.
I have found a new pet peeve in TBS games. Making a cancel button on action menus. Attack/End works well. Attack/Cancel/End makes me have to double tap down. From how I understand it, the "Buy it elsewhere" option informs the wishlist that the product in question has been already purchased without providing any moneytrail or any other proof of purchase. And once the wishlist is convinced that the item is purchased, it's a pain in a dick to put it back in the unpurchased section. I think you have to actually go to the item's page and put it back there "manually" - and it'll still have a bullshit "Has: 1 Wants: 2" next to it. Which doesn't sound that bad, but imagine putting EVERYTHING YOU HAD ON YOUR LIST back on. Especially if you're not just using your list for these threads and actually have a lot of stuff on there.
But that's just the Grinch part. The scam part comes from the Grinches being the only ones with the "Buy it elsewhere" option disabled, so they were the only ones with items still on the list - as far as others were concerned. And after that they "revealed" how the "Grinch part" was done and what to do to stop it, they reportedly got even more gifts for "figuring it out".
