And dont get me wrong I'm all for female fronted shows(especially when like in this situation it's headed by a primarily female staff). But it's extremely weird how far they go out of their way to trivialize the existence of what few male characters there are or make them seem like total shit jokes(Seahawk)

Bow is a good guy. "Emotional" is not a negative character trait; his empathy and friendliness is instrumental in saving the day on a number of occasions. Besides which he's also presented as a confidant and competent fighter, who's able to keep up with super-powers despite just being a normal dude. He's also depicted as being more sensible and intelligent than either Glimmer or Adora, often providing the voice of reason.

Honestly I don't know how you can look at Bow and think the show never tries to portray men in a positive light.
