>>104321500Bob and George was legitimately amazing. It wouldn't hold up today, but when it was in full swing all those years ago, it was really something special. I remember first finding it when I was goofing off on a computer in my school library. I read through a few strips, immediately went and grabbed my best friend, and we spent the rest of the period trying not to laugh like hyenas as we browsed through the pages. It's a good memory, and I was a regular visitor all the way to the end. I'm glad I found it.
>>104322225>>104322425Ran was arguably the most popular of the fancharacters. And yeah, his whole thing was that Kalinka Cossack built him out of super low-grade communist parts, so much so that he'd die from the slightest tap and it was still cheaper to just auto-construct a new body and teleport him in than try for repairs.
>>104322851The author had a rule about only dropping one "fuck" a year. I think it got used for one of the cast's reaction to the death.
>>104322914A few of B&G's subcomics were surprisingly high quality. Plague's Misadventures was good MMX themed one. MS Paint Masterpieces started off as a silly nonsense take on the classic series, but turned into a genuinely well written retelling of the games, with a LOT of custom sprite work. I'm sure there were others, but I can't really remember offhand. I'd have to dig out my old bookmarks... I know I saved a list somewhere.
...Ah, nostalgia. We're all getting old, huh?
