>>103966405>I can do anything I want with all my spare timeNot really, because of a lot of things require you to have money to spend, and NEET bucks are often insufficient for these things, especially since you need them to cover your regular life expenses, such as food, water, electricity, etc.
>learn an instrumentYou can't get a good quality instrument for cheap. Also, if it's something like an electric guitar, you need to get an amp for it and learn how to do maintenance on it, which isn't cost-free as you'll need to clean the fingerboard from time to time, change the strings, etc.
>learn to paintAgain, you need equipment to get started and also keep purchasing more equipment as you go through it.
>play video gamesYou need a console or a fast-enough PC for that.
>go out with my friendsTo do what? To get a bite to eat? Watch movies? A lot of these things cost money.
>My life is like a non-stop 7 day weekendI've been a NEET for several years and it's not fun after a short while because a lot of these great hobbies require money – not necessarily too much, but usually enough that NEET bucks don't cover them, and you constantly live from hand-to-mouth.
I'm not defending the wagecuck thing either, but I can understand that in many instances you don't really have much of a choice if you're not of the type who's able to set up their own enterprise or otherwise manage to self-employ themselves... and even in those cases you end up having to put a lot of work in it, so it better be something you have a passion for or otherwise you're not much better than slaving for someone else.
