Really, all the stuff before the animal part of the trailer looked 8/10 if not 9/10.

The general consensus is that it LOOKED good. I was liking it then when the bird part happened it felt like all hope vanished. It was one of those "I doubt I will ever see it in theaters but it looks good" feeling and then even that went away. I mean it isnt like we're short on movies that have done this concept before.

It's funny to me, I wonder what they're thinking now that pretty much a majority that has seen the trailer now has been disappointed that the fucking protagonist gets turned into a pigeon for no good reason. I've read people on Twitter saying the same stuff as in here, which is baffling considering the way this place likes to go against the grain often. But yeah... Nobody liked that shit.

Here's some food for thought: what if instead of this bird gimmick, Blue Sky made a PG-13 spy movie? They put smith on a leash so he doesn't ratchet up the script with "IM BLACK" jokes everywhere and they go from there.
