>>103917794>So you're saying it's okay for a sexually mature 16 y/o to have sex with a 10 year old because they're going to "eventually grow up into people"?I’m saying it’s okay to ship them because they are. If that equates to purely wanting to see them rut like animals then and there on the spot with no emotional gratification or heartboners whatsoever to you, then that just reflects more on your shit taste and depravity than mine.
>Blah blah Kataang is unrealisiticblah blah.Okay listen here faggot, i’m not gonna pretend that Kataang was a well developed relationship, or that any Avatar relationship was for that matter. But I am going to point out why every single argument you Sutarans regurgitate fir why it should have been impossible is just as shallow, vapid, and devoid of human understanding itself
>1. Aang and Katara had a mother-son/sibling relationshipBull-fuckkng-shit. Katara gets called the “mother” of the group, but that trope only extends to being a naggy wet blanket killjoy and voice of reason. Stretching that to be evidenc of her having a maternal realionship wih Aang is just as forced and hacky as the cery Kataang moments you’re deprecating, and you can definitely see it’s not a sibling one by how differently she treats Aang and Sokka.
>2. It isn’t realisticYour definition of realistic isn’t even actually based on whether it’s possible in reality, but rather whether or not it applies to a very specific subset of behaviors that are not only limited to being the most expected and stereotypical, but are actually OUT OF CHARACTER. You are applying the mentality and values of a modern day, painfully mundane teenage girl, to a character with a completely different back ground and life experiences who is pretty much exceptional in every way, which is not only faulty by how tremendously OOC, but actually undermines the ship you are trying to praise by bringing to attention how shallow, and vapid it requires Katara to be.
