>>103835977> huh, I could of sworn it was a long ass skirt, guess I was wrong and need to update this pic.
Just checked again: it was a skirt, but not a very long one regardless, medium length at most. And it became a leotard pretty early on.> No point did I say either costume was created due to fanservice only that they were approved for it.
I know, and that's exactly what i pointed out. So, you do agree that fanservice isn't the only reason, then? > Leotards are shitty costumes
That's mostly subjective, and it's an opinion, not a fact, but sure. Thanks for providing absutely zero reason why you think that way or even backing up your statement at all, btw. That sure makes for a compelling argument.
Here's an idea, though: what if, vare with me here, there's more to a costume's design than just its shape alone, and simply being a leotard isn't enough to make a design shitty (if it were, all irl leotards would look shitty, and they don't) . Which means that statement "Leotards are shitty designs" are pretty much meaningless, and that leotards, just like any other piece of clothing, can make for perfectly good desins (see: She-Hulk, Zatanna, Wonder Woman, Mystique, Black Canary).> and are normally the most basic bitch designs used.
If your argument as to why leotards are shitty begins and ends with what amounts to"They're not different enough!", then all i can say is that pants, when you look at superheroes as a whole rather than just male or female ones, are far more overused and "Basic bitch", whatever the fuck that even means.
I'm not even saying leotards are better, i'm just telling to stop treating your opinion like it's a fact, or at least try to back it up with something.
