>>103839104>Some people hate ApuCitation needed. I've never met anyone who hated Apu, or hate Indian foreigners because of Apu.
In the grand scheme of things, nobody cares about your race or gender, it's what you do that matters. It's 1950 + 68, grandpa, get with the times and learn to stop seeing people with their skin.
>Afraid to voice their issueYeah, of course, when there are people fighting about this exact topic, the best thing to do is to shut up instead of fight for what you believe, totally. That's the kind of people you definitely want to help, you know? The ones that would rather let other people fight their battles. I mean, this is totally assuming they even care about the topic and side with Hari, you know? That complete assumption you just made that people who won't do anything are actually hiding their opinions and are siding with you.
>Turds like youYeah, me, the guy who, as a kid, respected Apu's character the most out of everyone else in Springfield whenever the Simpsons were on because he was actually hardworking, friendly, realistic, and cared for his family despite all the shit handed to him, hates Apu. Apu was the only real representation of an Indian in my childhood, save for the asshole I knew back in 6th grade, but I genuinely got a good impression of Indians thanks to him. Without Apu, I'd have thought Indians were all "curry curry meditation smelly thief Dhalsim punch red dot on forehead."
I just want you to know that that's the reality people like me (who had only one character to go by with Indians) would have gotten without Apu. Think about that.
