>>103820468Same, and Stan is second
>>103820868But suffering is more enjoyable if undeserved, if the character deserves it then it's just normal payback, and it should be given occasionally.
>>103820777My list would be:
Kenny>Stan>Butters>Kyle>Cartman
I feel like Cartman comes out on top at Kyle's expense far too often for Kyle not to deserves being above him.
As for Stan being second, he's kind and genuinely well-meaning with no ulterior motives, he's sensitive and cares for animals, and despite all these good things he's depressed (generally as in You're Getting Old, and specifically with his reactions like when he became Goth), he's alone with no actual real friends (kyle doesn't care, neither does anyone else), his family is absolute chaos and he's at the mercy of his idiot father, no one listens to him so he's also emotionally alone, because no one understands or cares.
Now sure, most of these apply to the majority of the kids, but with Stan being so sensitive and good, it hurts him more because he doesn't deserve it AND he's less equipped to deal with it. Sensitive people cry more, suffer more, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if I found out he engages in self harmful behavior.
This is the reasoning behind my list, but I don't know about the other angstfag you were talking to.
