Jon and Jor-El were fine the last time Lois saw them. According to her, she left because her being with them put her in too much danger.

Turns out Lois has been keeping away from Clark because she wanted the time alone to write her book. He lets her know how much he's missed her, then fucks her brains out, then they agree to keep their current arrangement up until she's finished writing.

Though there are little hints that she's keeping something from Clark. She dismisses Lex's arrival at her apartment as just him trying to get her to tell him something embarrassing about Superman, which doesn't really line up with what he said in the last issue. That, her other quick explanations to Jon and hers' absence, and a comment Bendis' made in a DC Nations a few months ago, does imply that she's hiding something from Clark.

I think it's kinda obvious Bendis is setting up a clark divorcing Lois plotline but very slowly. Lois keeping secrets regardless of the reasons is definitely going to be something that goes over well with Clark.

Look at Mary Jane under Dan Slott. Slott did everything in his power to ruin Mary jane at every turn. It wasn't until pencer took over that Mary Jane stopped being a horrible person that hates Spider-Man.

You can't blame Lois for being dumb/evil/selfish because DC has been doing worse to her since Nu52.
