>>103596093There´s a swiss artist, Derib who made three series featuring native americans.
Yakari for kids, which I think is set pre-contact
Buddy Longway for teenagers, which is about a trapper who´s married to a native america woman and living out in the boonies, so they mainly interact with other Americans
Celui qui est ne deux fois and Red Road, the latter being the second life of the shaman whose biography is told in the first series.
There´s also L'esprit de Warren, which is about a native american serial killer with a thousand faces and that long series called "Indians" about the American resistance against the Spanish and Anglo invaders.
In a similar vein, a dude called Gordon Hill released one named "The 500 Years of Resistance Comic Book".
Then there´s The Dance of Time, which is about a time-travelling rapist trying to preserve the paralell universe Sitting Bull created with the Spirit Dance and Helldorado, which is about fantasy central americans and fantasy spaniards suffering from some plague together.
Oh, and Mitton released a book titled "Quetzalcoatl" that did feature a lot of rape and torture because that´s just what he does.
