>>103557940I'm not sure there's any other network that would give them the same level of creative freedom and autonomy. They insist on keep the writing staff to just Doc and Jackson, and the fact that it's just two of them putting that much effort into a show is part of the reason we get 2-3 year gaps because they need time away and wouldn't be able to do the show on an annual basis without having to make some significant compromises.
If they go to somewhere like Comedy Central, they'd probably insist an annual seasons and a larger writing staff. At this point Adult Swim puts up with it because they're a longtime show with proven success.
