Namor was never on the same threat level as Hulk, Thor or any of the Marvel Superman analogs. Namor is powerful but he isn't that powerful.

He's near their level in strength, but never in durability. Namor just never quite matches up to the top tiers of Marvel but he comes damn close.

Maybe if they did something with the whole magic trident at some point maybe. It's basically another Thor's Hammer type of weapon.
