A couple weeks back there were a couple of strong female character threads and what people thought about them.

One anon described the difference in male heroic ideals and female heroine ideals, amounting to the male heroes have an arc where they come from nothing but get stronger, but in the female ideal the heroine is always strong or skilled and faces no challenges to that. She's awesome from the getgo, essentially, thus explaining the Rey phenomenon and such and why the concept of 'strength' differs.

If someone could help me find that post I'd be really, really grateful.
